The Spear is a two-handed weapon in New World. The Spear is both a melee and a ranged weapon, since it can be thrown at enemies. There are two skill trees for the Spear: Zoner and Impaler.

The Zoner skill tree is a tree primarily designed for throwing skills, and keeping enemies at a distance. The second skill tree, Impaler, is a tree designed for closing gaps to enemies with quick attacks, with which, certain status effects are caused.

Spears will get bonuses from Dexterity and Strength.
